Try not to care about what's next, okay?

And what does that mean? What's next in life? Or what you're about to read?
Does it even matter if it's either?

Every day your senses are assaulted, but are you even alive? Not really. What would you say is most important to you? Your life? Why?
Is it being accepted? Being happy? Being loved?

How unoriginal.


Keep in mind you're not supposed to be caring right now.


Can you really appreciate your emotions? No. People are too busy thinking about themselves, and how they probably have at least some redeeming qualities. How, they're essentially a good person. Kindess won't fulfill uniqueness. Going through life as a kind person will only make you friends. Will only bring you the positive. But are you living? Mother Teresa already covered that ground. People think they have to be a good person to get through life in one happy, solid piece? Just being different is enough.

Unfortunately, someone messed that up for everyone. Someone decided to be different for difference's sake. Someone decided being different is a fad. Be different because it's you. At least you won't crash as hard.

Honestly, I'm just saying these things to generate conflict, so I cand spend my spare time backing up opinions I don't really have.

...or do I?

Self realization would be a lot more fun if the world wasn't so shallow that the only thing they have to reflect on the meaning of their own life. Personality is a lot more interesting, if you can't tell.



I like my friends, I eat the same cereal most of the time. I love playing tennis and doing graphic design. Playing poker is fun, and gaming is great. Hell, I'm only human. I might as well have a good time with the low standards.


If any of this makes you feel insulted, or worthless, compassionate, or filled with change. It's only a journal entry. On deviantart. After all, switching from paper to plastic is a life changing experience. Thoughts are fundamentally existence changing. Unfortunately, anyone who's experienced the right thoughts wouldn't share any of them with you.


For example, why do you believe in math and science? Because it seems absolute? Math and science are theory and observation, respectively. Who says that the human mind is capable of generating a complex numerical system, or any kind of system for that matter? Since when do we have the ability to perceive with precision exactly what happens around us?

I don't think math and science are relevant. I think they're just like cultural myths: methods of explanation. And, just like myths, they can be completely, radically, sometimes laughably, false.

And who says we're even real? There are an infinite amount of possibilities and explanations as to why I'm not even typing this right now. One being could be having a multi-perspective, intricate, infinite, dream.


If you've gotten this far, you still won't take any of this to heart. Because it doesn't matter. You have things to do. You don't have time to worry about thoughts that could reform the universe. It doesn't impact you...it doesn't impact anyone. Which is sad, because when people don't have anything important to worry about, they become increasingly ignorant. Just look outside. Look at your friends. Look in a mirror.


Speaking of your life, it should be known that your happiness isn't any more significant than what your co-worker had for lunch yesterday.

People constantly delude themselves into thinking that the meaning of their existance, their purpose, and who they are is somehow meaningful in the course of time. Are you better off if you find out the meaning of your life, whatever that may be? So your self-realized, you're enlightened--now what? Is it time for the pitiable ones who lurk in imperfection to bring you things on a silver platter? No one cares if you found Bhudda living in your dresser and he showed you how to realize the full potential of your "existance". People will be more focused on whether they should be bold and go to the Starbucks on 52nd instead of the one on 51st.

But what would that matter? You probably feel that the meaning of life is plenty significant to you as a person, right? Great. You found the reason for why you're here. Are you going to write a book now? Become famous? "Wow, that guy achieved enlightenment? Cool! What's on TV?" If you're lucky, you'll feel temporary self-worth. Being all-wise won't matter too much when you become wise enough to figure out no one cares.



A bit more on humanity: there are no right decisions. No matter what you do, someone is going to get hurt. Someone will disagree. But, that's something we have to face every day--but no one understands the implications. This is what that means: You can never, EVER, do something that everyone will back you up on. No matter how hard you've thought, no matter what intentions you have, you'll never be "right" from everyone's standpoint. And sooner or later, you'll take to heart what people say about you because of your actions. But...

I'd rather be hated for doing something I think is right, than be loved for doing something I thought was wrong.
